Five years ago, Stuart L. Hoff, a trustee of the Oradell Senior
Housing Corp., withdrew $15,340 from a bank account that held senior
citizens' deposits on homes in a planned retirement complex, and left
town.
By the time trustees of the non-profit corporation, which had
collected $700 deposits from 58 seniors, discovered the shortfall in
their accounts, Hoff had fled with the cash and bank records.
