`HIGHLY UNLIKELY' CEMETERY VANDALS WOULD DO TIME

Despite calls from religious leaders and politicians for swift and
severe punishment for the vandals who scrawled swastikas on Jewish
tombstones in Saddle Brook this week, it is highly unlikely they will do
any jail time if they are caught, officials said Friday.

"I think whether or not a judge would send them to jail for this
would be very problematic," said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Charles
Buckley.
