HILLSDALE -- When a Plymouth Sundance was stolen for the second time in River
Edge, detectives called Hillsdale, where police had found the car on a
residential street in December.

It was just a hunch, but a Hillsdale sergeant agreed to check the
same street again.

" `You're not going to believe this,'"
Detective Mike Niego said the sergeant reported back. " `It's there.'"
