My daughter, Nadirah Inez Moreland, graduated. Her brother, Tarik, did too. They both graduated from prestigious universities last month, as a part of the "Class of '94.
Four years ago when they graduated from Virginia Beach, VA's Green Run High School, they were both poised to attend prominent "Historically Black" schools.
