The Taylor Bernstein Foundation, named for a Hackensack boy who
recently died of Tay-Sachs disease, will stage a gala "Party of the
Year" aboard the Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum in Manhattan at 6 p.m.
Thursday, with proceeds going to fund education and research into the
fatal, inherited disorder.

Taylor, the son of Dennis and Fylissa Bernstein, died May 14 of
heart and respiratory failure at age 4, the life expectancy for
