RINGWOOD -- The arrest and resignation of Peter Cooper Elementary School
Principal John Mangan has left the school district with a question: Who
should succeed him.
Some parents say district officials need look no further than J.
Michael Sutcliffe, acting principal since April. A letter-writing
campaign, Save Our Principal, is asking Superintendent Arlene Hartman to
appoint Sutcliffe to the permanent position.
