Jim Craig didn't know why the pickets were distributing leaflets by
the Wayne post office, but the presence of the 15 postal workers dressed
in red, white, and blue T-shirts Monday looked ominous.

"My guess is that there's a threat of privatization, and they're
concerned about job security," said Craig, who lives in Wayne. "It's
another symbol of downsizing in America, and what was considered a
secure job five years ago ...
