One of the hottest books is "The End of Science," in which author
John Horgan writes that every major scientific question has been
answered as far as humanly possible.
At least that's what he reportedly wrote. His book costs $24, so
I'm waiting for the paperback.
Nevertheless I'm confident that Mr. Horgan's book contains a
chapter or two on my thesis that mosquitoes killed off the dinosaurs.
The extinction of the dinosaurs, after all, was the last outstanding
scientific puzzle on earth, and until my thesis ...
