Under the yellow glow of street light Molaodi and Gugu are dancing. The scraping of the soles of their newly fitted shoes on the concrete sidewalk is oddly fitting accompaniment to the waltz that wafts thinly from a box radio sitting on a set of front steps. A few neighbors dot the yard across the street, drawn outside purely by the uncommonness of this display. They are the first spectators of an event that is unprecedented on this quiet Alhambra street, and possibly in the entire country.
