Blackfeet Tribe to open regional recycling center.

CUT BANK, Mont. -- Tapping a new resource may soon improve the Blackfeet Reservation's economy and help the tribal members build their reputation as the original environmentalists.
According to Tribal Controller Elouise Cobell, the Blackfeet Tribe recently entered into a five-year agreement with Americlean Environmental Services of Los Angeles to design and operate a recycling plant and non-hazardous landfill on the reservation.
