Habitat for Humanity brings Jimmy Carter work project to Eagle Butte.

EAGLE BUTTE -- Former President Jimmy Carter, his wife Rosalynn and more than 1,200 other volunteers will help build 30 new homes on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation July 17 through 23.

Part of the Habitat for Humanity International Christian housing ministry, the Jimmy Carter Work Project will be, for the first time, building homes within a reservation.
