Hackensack Mayor John "Jack" Zisa said he would gladly trade his
city's status as Bergen County seat if it meant ridding the city of
county services that drain tax rolls and inundate the streets with the
homeless.

The mayor, speaking on "Local Live," a cable-television talk show
sponsored by The Record and TCI of Northern New Jersey, criticized what
he says is a continuing effort by other towns to unfairly burden his
