It's unusual when a coach returning four starters from an 18-8 team
says that the starting jobs are up for grabs. But that's what Erin
Shaughnessy is saying, and the William Paterson women's basketball coach
apparently is not blowing smoke.
"We consistently rotate people in practice," she said. "Nobody has
a spot. Nobody is content. It doesn't matter if you play 27 minutes or
30 minutes. It's good healthy competition."
