Bergen Pines County Hospital would open its doors to sick prison
inmates from other counties under a proposal being explored by several
Bergen county officials.
Sheriff Jack Terhune plans to meet with Bergen Pines administrators
next week to discuss the idea, which aims to boost hospital revenue and
save taxpayer dollars.
