The owners of the minor league baseball park being built in Sussex
County sought protection from their creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy
proceedings on Thursday.
The move allowed them to secure a $2 million loan they need to
finish construction on the $9.7 million Skylands Park.
Robert Hilliard, one of the owners, is optimistic that the park
will be finished in time for the New Jersey Cardinals' June 16 ...
