PRINCETON -- Legislation aimed at speeding criminal background checks on school
employees will be supported by the state's school board association,
officials said.
At its annual meeting on Saturday, the New Jersey School Boards
Association passed a resolution from the Wayne Township Board of
Education seeking tighter time lines for the background checks on new
hires.
