PASADENA, Calif. -- For soccer historians, few matchups are as evocative as Brazil vs.
Sweden.
On June 29, 1958, playing in its first and only World Cup Final in
front of its home fans in Stockholm, underdog Sweden took on a Brazil
side that featured some of the game's great names -- Didi, Vava,
Garrincha, and Mario Zagalo among them.
