Poland's Role in World War II: Nie Damy Sie

Poland's military role during World War II is generally misunderstood. The Germans attacked Poland from the West on September 1, 1939. The Poles inflicted over 50,000 casualties on the Wehrmacht, including the destruction of numerous German tanks and plans. Polish forces sustained some 60,000 men killed and 140,000 wounded, and these numbers exclude civilian casualties.
