BERLIN -- The huge towers that the Allied bombers used as landmarks remain
intact, and now stand harmlessly on the edges of Maifeld. The grass is
immaculately kept and much greener than it was a half-century go, when
Adolf Hitler would assemble 500,000 Nazi soldiers on those fields and
deliver one of his pep talks.
