HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- "Conservative" had been the byword of the Jets medical staff
regarding players' training camp injuries. But a different adjective was
used in describing the surgery that wide receiver Rob Moore underwent
Wednesday on his fractured left wrist.
"We decided last night [Tuesday] to take an aggressive approach
with the injury," coach Pete Carroll said, "obviously in an attempt to
speed it up."
The team said in a news release that it was too early to set an
