TOWNS NEAR DEAL TO PROTECT GREENWOOD LAKE

New Jersey and New York officials have put the finishing touches on
an agreement that establishes a three-town committee to protect
Greenwood Lake.
West Milford, Warwick, N.Y., and Greenwood Lake, N.Y., are expected
to sign the document in early September. It will then be sent to the New
Jersey and New York attorneys general for approval. Officials finished
drafting it Friday.
Although pleased with the deal, the three communities said they
