Six weeks after the coordinator of the Little Falls anti-drug
program announced plans to run for Township Committee, local officials
have launched an investigation into her group's finances.
In what Democrats denounced as a witch hunt and a blatant attempt
to injure Helene Baumann's political hopes, the Republican-dominated
committee has alleged that serious financial "irregularities" exist at
the Little Falls Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Drug and
