Long-term use of the most widely prescribed fertility drug,
clomiphene, may put women at a significantly increased risk of ovarian
cancer, though short-term use of the drug appears safe, a study
published Thursday in the New England Journal of Medicine concluded.

Researchers found that women who used the drug for more than 12
months had 11 times the risk for ovarian cancer as women who had never
