In this world of plenty, hunger remains a stark reality for many.
On World Hunger Day, Oct. 16, The Record will organize its third annual
food drive for needy families in Bergen and Passaic counties, with
co-sponsors Grand Union, Macy's, United Jersey Bank, the Volunteer
Center of Bergen County, and WNBC-TV.
