EAST RUTHERFORD -- With the passing of the quarterbacking duties from veteran Phil
Simms to inexperienced Dave Brown, a drop-off in offensive production
was expected from the Giants in 1994. Few, however, predicted such a
major decline, and there would have been even fewer doomsayers if they
had known how well Brown would play over the first four games.
