Editor, The Record:

While I applaud the concept of "Megan's Law," i.e., notification to
police and neighbors of the whereabouts of a convicted sex offender, I
wonder why this concept is not expanded to other violent criminals.

Isn't the neighborhood at just as much risk with a murderer, armed
robber, assaulter, etc., living in its midst as with a sex offender? Who
cares about some phony philosophical rationale that ...
