A proposed electrical power plant in Ringwood "could be nothing
short of disastrous for our water supply," said an official at the North
Jersey District Water Supply Commission.
Commissioner Robert Coyle and other water authority officials
expressed concerns that impurities from plant emissions would get into
the water, and fear that above-ground tanks for storing 600,000 gallons
