Gulf War Syndrome sufferers get hope from new House bill.

In the three years since the Gulf War, veterans plagued by a mysterious illness have had their woes compounded by a Veterans Administration policy that denies compensation for maladies not clearly diagnosed as military-related. A recent bill passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, sponsored by Mississippi Rep. Sonny Montgomery and Massachusetts Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II, however, may change that and allow veterans suffering from the strange, yet undiagnosed illness to collect disability compensation.
