Another Comeback; A Light Heavyweight Unification: Hill and McCallum. Win Elimination Fights in North Dakota

Bismarck, North Dakota, a teeming metropolis of 50,000, seems an unlikely site for a world championship boxing doubleheader, but WBA light heavyweight champ Virgil "Quicksilver" Hill is a native son and maybe the only black person in the state. When Hill fights it's usually in Bismarck, and one-fifth of the hometown population jams into Bismarck Civic Center to cheer him on. Last Saturday, the North Dakota home folks had two reasons to cheer.
