A strong barometer of the quality of life in a community is the
commitment it makes to educating its children. Until youngsters are made
to feel good about themselves, are taught and allowed to experience fair
play, and are exposed to the intrinsic values to be learned from keen
competition, academic growth and development will remain a dormant
phenomenon.
