TRENTON -- Seven bills touted by Republican leaders as a stimulus package for
New Jersey's sluggish economy were overwhelmingly approved by the
Legislature on Thursday and sent to Governor Florio for his signature.

The package could cost the state close to $120 million in tax
revenue at first, but the Republican sponsors say the bills will spur
growth and ultimately increase tax revenues.
