WEST MILFORD -- When it was time to take center stage Monday night, all the top
competitors were ready. The Passaic County gymnastics tournament reached
a crescendo in the floor exercise as freshman Nancy Schemly completed
Wayne Valley's turn, and then West Milford sent its nimble athletes onto
the mat to complete the evening.
When the cheering was over, the 5-foot-4 Schemly stood tallest with
sole ownership of the all-around trophy, and West Milford stood as the
