The Association for Civil Rights in Israel yesterday asked Attorney-General Elyakim Rubinstein to cancel tenders issued by the East Jerusalem Development Company for five properties in the Jewish Quarter because the terms were allegedly discriminatory.
The properties include Beit Rothschild, one of the largest and most beautiful buildings in the neighborhood, and Beit Allon, which was occupied by Yigal Allon when he served as foreign minister.
