He was there 30 years ago, asking City Council for help in acquiring an old, abandoned jailhouse in North Philadelphia.

Rev. Dr. Leon H. Sullivan, then the of Zion Baptist Church, vowed that getting this building to house a unique job training program would bring new hope to the poor, unskilled and unemployed, and would reap untold benefits for the city, the country and perhaps the world.
