(Badger Herald) (U-WIRE) MADISON, Wis. -- The fire that caused $500,000 worth of damage to the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house earlier this summer has forced 30 UW-Madison students to find alternative housing for the fall.
Of the 30 fraternity members who were planning to live in the house at 237 Langdon St. during the fall semester, 15 have moved into the Theta Chi fraternity house. The remaining members were able to find alternate accommodations in apartments.
The lack of a physical structure for the fraternity caused some members to be concerned about their ability to carry out fraternity activities.
