Reggae has always been a music of shifts, moods, and cycles. In fact, one of the reasons it has been able to stay around so long and become so influential is its amazing ability to fuse. It is hard to imagine any other musical genre that is so able to adapt to trends without becoming consumed, from ska to dancehall with jazz, rock, soul, and hip hop in between.
