Little League Coming to South Los Angeles: First Program of Its Kind in. the Area

A first-ever National little League Baseball program - the South Los Angeles Little League - is coming to youngsters in South Los Angeles, marking he first program of its kind in the area mandated for national competition.

The new league is open to youngsters ages 5-12, both male and female. League participants must reside in the South Los Angeles area, which is bounded by the Harbor Freeway on the east, Crenshaw Boulevard on the west, Florence Avenue on the south and the Santa Monica Freeway on the north.
