Highly recommended reading: `To Be Loved'.
According to Martha Reeves, Motown founder Berry Gordy's autobiography is the best of the many books written by former and current Motown people and should have been written years ago. She praised the book ("To Be Loved") lavishly even though it is overshadowing her own very interesting autobiography, "Dancing in the Street: Confessions of a Motown Diva."
"Reflections" also received a call from Claudette Rogers, formerly of the Miracles and former wife of Smokey Robinson. She too spoke glowingly of Gordy's book, saying he had "done a fantastic job of putting it all together." (Claudette expects her own book ...
