City pays to put bank's ATM on Main street

The City of Benton Harbor will be getting an ATM machine installed at the corner of Fifth and main Streets in the parking lot of Marche's Fashions, downtown.

City Manager Charles Roberts said many seniors and other residents of the city have been complaining to city officials about not having an ATM machine in the downtown area available for their use.

Roberts said city officials decided to do something about the complaints and talked to local banks about installing an ATM machine, but the city will do the job for Century Bank, not a local institution.
