It is often said that music is an universal language. Somehow, through its strategically placed rhythms, chord patterns, tones and lyrics, music finds a way to speak to people in a familiar tongue. Music can also bring together diverse cultures, offering one culture a better understanding, and perhaps a greater sensitivity, for the experiences of another.
As Floyd Slotterback sat in his home, watching television during the past Christmas holidays, he experienced this type of feeling and it had a great affect on him.
