The Motor City/Michigan Chronicle Hall of Fame is a new feature of the Chronicle's entertainment/music department, created to honor entertainers who have made significant and enduring contributions to the world of show business.

Could there be anyone on Planet Earth over the age of eight who has never heard of Bill Cosby? It seems unlikely. He has achieved maximum success as actor, stand-up comedian, author, recording star and million-dollar pitchman for an array of products.
