Rams' QB Trent Green Injured
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Rams quarterback Trent Green tore a left knee ligament near the end of the first half of Saturday night's exhibition against the San Diego Chargers.
Green, who completed all 11 passes for 166 yards and a 52-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Bruce, suffered a torn medial collateral ligament and also sustained possible damage to the anterior cruciate ligament. An MRI was scheduled later Saturday night at Barnes Hospital.
