THE LIAM HAYES COLUMN: BLAME THE SELECTORS FOR IRISH RUGBY DISASTER.

TROOPING out onto the field at Lansdowne Road next Saturday afternoon to meet the French, the Irish rugby team might take one last look behind them. Traditionally, the team never does that. Not even a glance is snatched over either shoulder as they, at first walk solemnly from their dressingroom, and then bolt for the middle of the field.

In good times and bad times, that's the way the team does it. We are now, however, entering horrific times for Irish rugby. Our national team are a tired looking lot.
