Givenchy collection keeps the "E" in elegant.

PARIS -- Hubert Givenchy's fall-winter 1995-1996 collection is a breakfast showing at L'Hotel George V. His look is longer, leaner and slimmer. Shoulders are natural. Shapely, longer lines are definitively more fitted, and "Maestro" Givenchy designs glamour with a capital G. It's worth the early get-up call.

"As a gentleman, Monsieur Givenchy respects the woman who wears his designs. He wants her to feel comfortable at all times and to be elegant and modern," states Arend Basile, Givenchy's studio couture assistant for 10 years.
