Arbitration Panel Sides With U.N.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) -- An arbitration panel on Friday rejected a Canadian air transport company's $50 million claim that the United Nations unfairly blocked it from bidding on U.N. contracts, but found ``serious flaws'' in the way the U.N. did business.

SkyLink Aviation Inc., of Toronto said it was satisfied with the ruling because it blamed the U.N.'s internal oversight office for incompetence in accusing the company of wrongdoing and suspending it from the bidding process.
