Peoples Bank to celebrate new branch.

It's been almost three years since Peoples National Bank near the Northside Shopping Center in Northwest Dade was purchased by a group of Black investors. In 1991, at the time of the unprecedented deal, these investors could only imagine the impact that this one of a kind Black-owned business would have on the community of Northwest Dade.
People's National Bank is making history again in the state with the opening of its first branch in Broward County in March. The Miramar Carol City branch is located in the Miramar Parkway Plaza and its manager is Carol City resident Rose Deal.
