I remember a line from a children's song that offers a ring of truth. The line was, "...be careful, little ears, what you hear..." That line rings true because the things young people hear have a tremendous impact on their conduct if not their attitude. A steady diet of any type of music will eventually have an effect on the listener.

"Gangsta rap" is a dangerous form of music because it espouses negative and anti-social behavior. I believe people, and youths in particular, who consistently listen to that type of music become "at risk" for anti-social and criminal ...
