Blood-pressure report causes premature panic.

An announcement about possible dangers from hypertension medicine has needlessly triggered panic in the hearts of people across the country.
The shock waves started last week when Bruce Psaty, associate professor of medicine, epidemiology and health services at University of Michigan, unveiled his findings about calcium-channel blockers, a popular form of treatment for preventing heart attacks.
Psaty compared 623 people who had suffered heart attacks and 2.032 who had not. He concluded that over a year, 16 people taking calcium-channel blockers may have a heart attack. ...
