African-Centered Parenting Is Highlighted.

On Saturday, April 22, renowned African-centered scholar Dr. Asa Hilliard will lecture in Chicago at the New Concept Development Center, 7823 S. Ellis. The program will begin at 7 P.M.
Over the last 30 years Hilliard has distinguished himself as one of the leading educators in the African world. Currently, he is the Fuller E. Callaway Professor of Urban Education at Georgia State University. Prior to his appointment at Georgia State University, Hilliard served on the faculty at San Francisco State University for 18 years; he was also dean of education for eight years.
