Observations for the Turkish Apologist of Armenian Extraction - Part II.
The Turkish Army entered Northern Iraq (Kurdish Safe Zone!) on March 19, 1995 for a cross-border offensive with the pretext of cracking down on Kurdish Worker's Party (PKK) rebels based in the region. Some have estimated that 35,000 strong, Turkish Army (according to PKK, 85,000) regulars, mainly commandos, with the assistance of mechanized armored division, tanks, armored vehicles, and the aircraft were involved in their huge military operation, with the initial silent blessing of both U.S. and Russian governments.
